Heaven has fallen, including its Leader, Aven, thanks to the Demon King Shutendoji's new Elite Demons. Now Shutendoji has his eyes set on Earth. Can a Lone Swordsman wielding Aven's sword stand a chance against such hopeless odds? Or will the madness of the souls he must absorb destroy him from the inside?Characters

THE LONE SWORDSMAN Race: Human Age: 17 Gender: Male Biography: The Hero of the story. Wielding Aven's sword, The Avenger, he can absorb the souls of fallen innocents to increase this power, at the cost of his own sanity. At this time, he doesn't know his real name, as the soul's hauntings have made him forget. |

SHUTENDOJI Race: Demon King Age: Unknown Gender: Male Biography: The main villain of the story, Shutendoji (shoe-ten-doe-gee) created a new form of Demons called the Elite Demons, which are supposedly capable of decimating 1,000 Angels alone. He used an army of 100 of these to destroy Heaven, and now has his eyes set on Earth, despite Aven's warning. |

AVEN Race: Angel/Origin Age: Unknown, Older than the Earth Gender: Male Biography: The Leader of Heaven, and one of the four Origins that created the world. He was the last surviving Origin until he was killed in the final battle with Hell. His soul now seemingly resides within The Lone Swordsman. |

KRATOS Race: Demon/Human Age: 22 Gender: Male Biography: Very little is known about him at this time, though he serves as Shutendoji's second in command and is the leader of the Chaos Generals. He seems to have some sort of connection with The Lone Swordsman |
