Synopsis

XOXO is a romantic comedy about the discovery of love and Ayumi’s adventure to find it in the crazy world called high school. Ayumi is just starting high school. When she gets there, she realizes that everyone is grouped according to his/her astrological sign. Luckily for her, though, she is an Aries, which is in second place. But, when she arrives, she is humiliated on her first day of high school. Within her first couple weeks she meets a girl, named Kylee, who eventually becomes her best friend.

Kylee has a boyfriend named Hiroki who is a very mysterious guy. Ayumi discovers she is now the only girl with no boyfriend. So, to find out what guys like, Ayumi disguises herself as a guy to find out how they think. This goes on for a while, but Takashi finds out that it was Ayumi disguised as this mysterious guy. So, Takashi asks Ayumi out, but she runs away. When Takashi asks Ayumi out again she—being the romantic type—is swept off her feet and says yes.

Kylee and Ayumi come up with three steps to a perfect date that Ayumi uses on her date. These steps, lead to an adventure worth dying to read. Characters


	AYUMI Ayumi is a cute natural playgirl. She's ready for the excitement of high school love. Or so she thinks... She's only a freshman, but she's the main target of over half the boys at her school, and everywhere else! She wants to find love and is very persistent. Even when it doesn't work out with Hiroki, she recovers quickly and finds someone else. She dresses up as a guy to find out what guys like. Ayumi has that covered. Flirt without knowing that your doing it? That is Ayumi's specialty! She is trusting and does everything that Kylee suggests without a second thought.
	TAKASHI He is persistent, popular, lively, and brave to the point that he can be dense at times. He, like many other boys, likes Ayumi but unlike them, he does something about it and takes action. He doesn't care about Kazushi's threat to stay away from Ayumi, because Takashi isn't afraid of Kazushi like the other guys. He is one of Ayumi's love interests.

	KAZUSHI Kazushi is popular, concealed and serious but hangs out with only a select few people. He likes Ayumi, and, as Ayumi will later remember, had a past relationship with her. He moved away a very long time ago, but then moved back. He absolutely hates anyone who has a thing for Ayumi. He is another one of Ayumi's love interests.

	KYLEE She is a witty, amusing girl, who is full of emotion. She is Ayumi's best friend, and they go through the tangling, confusing, dangerous world of high school with love, heartbreak, and nutty teachers. Kylee is full of surprises, and you'll never know what she'll do next!!! Kylee helps the relationship between Ayumi and Takashi develop.
