What are some great tips you can share about drawing? Always use basic shape, learn basic anatomy! 2. When did you first start to draw manga? 5 years ago I think. 3. Name the greatest influence on your manga. Everything and everyone. 4. Has DREAM been helpful to you in any way? Yup, 5. What was the first manga you ever bought for yourself? Rave master. 6. Name the pens you use for drawing manga and how you use them. If you ink digitally, name the sizes and types of brushes you use and how you use them. I use 0.3, 1.0, Pilot drawing pens. I use them how I feel like. Make sure they work before I buy them. I can't tell you how many times I've brought dodgy pens. 7. How long does it take you to do one page from planning to toning and lettering? It varies, toning takes 2 hours sometimes half a day. 8. What is the average length of your mangas? My first project and the only one I ever finished was about 98 pages, I suppose head over heart will be much longer. 9. After this manga, what type of manga would you like to draw next? Whoo! I have loads of ideas, not sure yet :) 10. What inspired you to draw manga? Dragonball Z. 11. When did you first start to draw manga? In secondary school, I was 12- 13 years old? 12. Who do you say gave you the most support while drawing manga? Myself, I'm still supporting myself even now, it's not easy. Though readers online, and other artists are a great help! 13. I prefer traditional but I have more confidence doing it on the computer, so... 15. Have you ever tried to promote your manga in any way? Name some please. Well for other manga I've done. I did try drunkduck and other online comic sites. I'm lazy when it comes to promoting. In fact I'm more comfortable with my manga being on one place. Such as smackjeeves. 16. Was there ever a period of time where you completely stopped drawing manga for any reason? Heck yeah! During Exams (those days are history :D), and when I felt my art sucked so badly it was a waste of time to draw anymore. 17. Do you usually know the ending of your manga before you begin? Do you enjoy knowing/not knowing the ending? I never know. I always have different ideas, its fun that way. 18. Out of all your series, which one do you feel closest to? Please describe it in a few sentences. Head over heart, because the only reason I started drawing it. Was because of experiences I had gone through. 19. Have you ever done a doujinshi? Which series was it based on? Dragonball z! It was great fun. And Naruto. 20. Which of your characters do you like the most? Kim Choi. He comes to life on his on! |
