Arcane Malevolence

Synopsis

This manga follows Chloe and her friends as they try to protect the Arcane Maiden, a being that some believe is the goddess of destruction. Unfortunately the Kizoku, powerful rulers of the South African Empire are after the maiden well. If the Arcane maiden falls into the wrong hands, the entire world will be doomed.

Characters

CHLOE
She and Hige were close childhood friends and have been inseparable since the day they met. When hige left to find out about his forgotten past and about his evil sword, Chloe promises to protect Xena. She has the power to summon powerful entities called Arc-demons.

XENA THE ARCANE MAIDEN
Some believe that she is a goddess who has come to earth to destroy all mankind. She seems harmless and she does not like to fight. She has the ability talk to animals, plants, rocks and even the earth itself. And that kinda freaks everyone out.

TASUKE
He is a typical hot-head with a short temper. He has a deep hatred of the Kizoku because they destroyed his village long ago. At this point his abilities are unknown.

UNKNOWN MASKED ALLEY
She very mysterious, she refuses to reveal even her name. She seems to have talent in Black-magick which is strange because only Kizoku can master Magicks.

HIGE
Xena calls him "ni-sama" and he is the wielder of the Soulcatcher, a very powerful and evil sword. He decided to leave Chloe and journey alone because of his evil sword and plans return someday to protect Xena.
