FireWire By: Sai Reba Released: December 2011 Synopsis When Kennedy H'naka's cell phone becomes the new home of the dragon FireWire Balisk, she finds herself sucked into a world of battles, secrets, and shadowy organizations. What's a girl to do when she has to save the world and still pass the tenth grade? Characters KENNEDY "KENNY" H'NAKA Kennedy is an all around nice girl who likes to help her friends. She has average grades and the only class she hates is PE, due to the fact that she's a natural klutz. In general she is well-liked and has no enemies. At least, that's what she thought until Jonathan Min tried to kill her. Her FireWire is Balisk. HARU FIE Living with the H'naka's, he's sort of like Kennedy's big brother. He is typically upbeat and has a passion for cooking and tea. He had a mysterious relationship with Jonathan Min's deceased mother, Haven, and feels a deep sense of obligation to protect Jonathan. JONATHAN MIN A Branch4 Retrieval Operative (RO) at Site 47. He always wears a green orb necklace (even under his school uniform). He is not typically a sociable guy, but he does have a soft spot for kids. His FireWire is Oobasami. EDDY CHEN Really nice, but extremely forgetful at times. He and Grace have been friends since childhood and he has a tendency to give everyone nicknames. His FireWire is Romulus, also known as "Romy". GRACE "GRACIE" HONG Loud and proud of it, the students of Greenfield Highschool have often been deafened by her foghorn of a voice. She is very protective of her friends and loves sports, especially dodge ball. She is constantly bickering with Eddy. Her FireWire is Karze. HAYLEY NGUYEN A Branch4 Retrieval Operative (RO) at Site 47. She is a skilled RO, but still not as skilled as Jonathan. She and Jonathan have worked with each other for three years and she is one of few people that can easily annoy him. Before becoming an RO, she was a skilled thief. Her FireWire is Shardol. NICOLAS "NICK" LIANG The third RO employed at Site 47. He is a very laid back kind of guy but highly skilled and flexible. He has worked at Site 47 for seven years and has developed a tenuous friendship with both Jonathan and Hayley. His FireWire is Raid.
